Kindle Fire

Kindle Fire Quick Facts:

A step down in Power.

As anyone is, I am a HUGE fan of Amazon, I think that everything that they do is a step in the right direction. Everything such as incorporating a Kick-starter program for small low budget companies. However, Point that is not the only low budget thing on their websThe point of the matter is, the Kindle Fire is not living up to the buzz they create. You can’t expect much out of a $40 tablet, however, I find myself using it less and less as the battery gets worse and doing simple tasks on it take twice as long as on per-say, an iPad Mini. I know what you all are going to say ‘can not compare a $40 tablet and a $250 tablet. Yes, you are right on a level. What you didn’t know is that this iPad is their first generation has seen better days. That being said, you can do more productive things on the iPad than on the tablet. Such as, download an app. The simplest thing in the world, yet I cannot get an app for the life of me. I put in my credit card info and it still is giving me an error message.

Moving on, I was attempting to charge my tablet, and I realize that it was already dead. The battery life sucks, I am able to surf the web for about 4-6 hours before the tablet just dies. That would explain the cheap material used to make it. They attempted to give the tablet a Matte Black look, however, they just made the tablet look even cheaper. There still is some hope, I did not forget to mention this thing is amazing for just working on its own. You cannot be more right when you say that this tablet is crap, and that is why it is awesome. You don’t care about it. Drop it and break the cheap tablet and protective screen, buy a new one. Break that one and you still haven’t made a dent in your savings account. I would highly recommend this to someone who is looking for a first tablet, or a cheap gift. But just keep in mind all of these problems are $40.
